Catskills Ballet Camp (CBC)

An exclusive program led by our Director and teachers, Julia Vorobyeva and Albert Davydov, former principal ballet dancers of Russian Ballet, international competition winners, and certified instructors and choreographers. This intensive workshop is designed for students ages 8 and up, at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Held during school breaks and summer, our 5-week summer program focuses on:

• Strengthening skills where improvement is needed

• Learning a variety of repertory dances, including classical variations, character dances, and contemporary pieces

• Culminating in the Summer Performance on our summer stage

• Character Dance

• Partnering

• Variations

• Repertory

Auditions

As space is limited, an audition is required for new students:

• During regular classes: $30

• Private auditions by appointment: $50

• Comfortable living spaces with bunk beds, personal bedside tables, and showers

• Three meals a day

• Seasonal activities:

  • Winter: snow tubing, skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, Christmas tree decorating

  • Summer: swimming, hiking, and other outdoor activity
